The Man Next Door (1997)

The Man Next Door is pretty standard mid-90s made-for-tv fare in the way it is presented, plenty of stock music. Although it has a 15 certificate on the DVD box it could quite easily be a PG if it were reclassified today. It’s a tame thriller by 2012 standards with no profanities, nudity or visible violence.

There is some bloodshed but all the action is off-screen.

The story is tried and tested but is delivered quite well. Characters are all fairly believable and the situation isn’t so far-fetched that you lose interest.

An acceptable offering but more a collection bulker.
